22nd Anniversary Celebration at Hamro Sunshine Secondary School

On a bright and sunny day, the Hamro Sunshine Secondary School joyfully celebrated its 22nd anniversary on Feb 07, 2024. The school, nestled in the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal, has been a beacon of education and growth for over two decades.

The festivities commenced with a vibrant assembly, where students, teachers, and staff gathered under fluttering flags and colorful banners. The air buzzed with excitement as the school choir melodiously sang the national anthem, filling the courtyard with pride.

The principal, Mr. Dibesh Khatree, delivered an inspiring speech, reminiscing about the school’s humble beginnings and its remarkable journey. She praised the dedicated faculty, supportive parents, board members,  and resilient students who have contributed to the school’s success.

Various cultural performances followed—a mesmerizing dance by the junior students, a thought-provoking skit by the seniors, and a heartwarming musical ensemble. The audience clapped, cheered, and swayed to the rhythm, celebrating the spirit of unity and learning.

The highlight of the day was the planting of 22 saplings, symbolizing growth, resilience, and sustainability. Each sapling represented a year of progress, and students pledged to nurture them with care.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, the school courtyard transformed into a magical fairground. Stalls offered delectable treats—delicious biscuits and steaming cups of masala tea. Laughter echoed as students played traditional dramas.

The evening concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Chairman, Mr Bishnu Prasad Bhusal. He expressed gratitude to the entire Hamro Sunshine family—the teachers who ignite minds, the parents who trust, and the students who dream.

The 22nd anniversary celebration was a testament to the school’s unwavering commitment to excellence, fostering not just academic growth but also character development. As the twinkling stars adorned the night sky, Hamro Sunshine Secondary School stood proud, basking in the warmth of its joyful legacy.
