The Sunshine School can only continue to exist thanks to the many volunteers. Financial support is only part of this. Also, the active Contribute is for the club in Switzerland is of particular importance.
There are enough state schools in Nepal, but you also need the necessary financial means to do so; for example to be able to pay for the school uniform and the school supplies. Unfortunately there are many very poor families in Nepal, including many single mothers who do not have the necessary money. There are few social facilities or safety nets that support such families in Nepal. That is why the Sunshine School is a great opportunity for many children who would otherwise never get an education.
The Nepalese state does not pay support funds to the Sunshine School. At the moment we need about CHF 5000.- per month for the entire school upkeep, including all school supplies, the wages of the teachers and cooks and lunch.
We hope that the Sunshine School will continue for a long time and that many children will continue to have an opportunity for the future. Please help us achieve our goal.

We carry a suitcase with rental materials to Nepal. This can be borrowed for project weeks at schools or for youth groups on the topic of Nepal. It contains books, images, videos, music CDs and individual items from Nepal.
